How to Strengthen Corporate Solidarity?

Collegiality and a good working atmosphere are important ingredients for an efficient working environment. You should therefore certainly not neglect these aspects. Moreover, promoting collegiality requires an active approach and may (or should) be seen as an investment. According to a study by VOKA (1), team development promotes a group feeling and cooperation. And that equals more efficient work and higher productivity.

Fun group activities build strong teams

Promoting collegiality between your employees: your company can only benefit from this. The theory of Experiential Learning (2) even endorses this from sociology. This theory states that fun activities with a high level of involvement and a relaxed atmosphere promote positive interactions between team members. The result? More motivated employees.

The benefits of collegiality

But more motivation is not the only benefit. If you actively invest in collegiality and team spirit, employees also feel more involved in the work process. Thanks to extra energy and commitment, projects will deliver better results. Moreover, fun group activities and team building also have an indirect impact… The results include less stress and negative feelings – two factors that should not be underestimated when calculating your return!

Promoting collegiality with teambuilding: investing in human capital

Investing in fun group activities does wonders for the group spirit of your employees and their mutual cooperation. It is the breeding ground for better organisational functioning and its importance should therefore not be overlooked. Your people are also part of your organisation’s ‘capital’. And creating a working environment in which everyone can be and function at their best is a goal in itself!
